Greek Yoghurt Garlic Dip – Quick and Easy Mediterranean Flavour
Ready in under 10 minutes, this creamy Mediterranean garlic dip made with Greek yoghurt is perfect for any occasion.
Welcome to Mikki’s Kitchen, flavour friends!
Today I’m sharing one of my all-time favourite dips — a Greek yoghurt garlic dip that’s bold, fresh, and unbelievably easy to make. It has that perfect balance of tangy and garlicky with a silky finish, and it somehow feels a little fancy without requiring any effort at all.
Plus, it comes together with ingredients you probably already have at home.
You can whip it up in just minutes, and it tastes miles better than anything store-bought — no fillers, no additives, just simple Mediterranean ingredients that deliver big flavour.
How Much Greek Yoghurt Garlic Dip You’ll Get
This batch usually makes enough for four people. But to be honest, Andy and I often end up eating it all ourselves.
So, if you’re hosting more than a few friends, I’d recommend making a larger batch. In addition, pairing it with an extra dip or two — like my Lemon and Garlic White Bean Dip — is always a good idea.
Trust me, this one is always the first to go because the flavour is yummy.

Notes
Fun Ways to Make It Your Own
Beyond the basics, one of my favourite things about this dip is how easily you can switch up the flavour.
- Swap the raw garlic for roasted garlic if you want something sweeter and softer.
- Add finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes for a savoury, bold twist.
- Dust the top with a bit of smoked paprika for depth without heat.
Tiny changes can shift the whole vibe, so play around and make it your own.
How to Make It Even Quicker Next Time
This recipe is already speedy, but a couple of small prep steps can make it even faster.
For example, I often mince the garlic and squeeze the lemon juice ahead of time, then store them in small airtight containers in the fridge. This means that when the craving hits, all that’s left to do is mix everything.
In my experience, minced garlic stays fresh for up to a week, while lemon juice keeps well for around two weeks.

Why This Greek Yoghurt Garlic Dip Just Works
This dip has earned a permanent spot in our fridge because it’s simple, fresh, and packed with Mediterranean flavour.
Here’s why it’s so good:
- Greek yoghurt gives it that thick, velvety texture while adding a satisfying boost of protein and calcium.
- Garlic brings bold flavour and those natural immune-supporting perks we all love.
- Lemon juice brightens everything beautifully.
- Olive oil adds silkiness and helps your body absorb the nutrients from the yoghurt and garlic — it’s the quiet hero that ties the whole dip together.
Overall, it’s wholesome, comforting, and endlessly versatile.
A Little Note on the Best Yoghurt to Use
For the creamiest result, use authentic Greek yoghurt. It’s thick, rich, and perfect for dips. You can also use low-fat Greek yogurt, but for the best texture, stick to 5% fat or higher.
Choose whatever fits your day-to-day life best.
