Instructions
Create the baseAdd the Greek yoghurt to a small bowl and squeeze in the lemon juice. Give it a quick stir until it looks smooth and creamy — it should already smell bright and fresh.
Add the garlic and olive oilMix in your minced garlic and a tablespoon of olive oil. Stir until everything blends together beautifully — it’s what gives the dip that little extra depth and silkiness.
Season to tasteAdd a pinch of salt, some black pepper, and a touch of cayenne for warmth. Taste and adjust — a bit more lemon if you want it zesty, or a hint more salt to lift it.
Chill, serve or storeSprinkle with a bit of parsley or dill if you like. Serve immediately, or chill for 30 minutes to let the flavours settle.Leftovers keep well in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
Notes
Mixing tip: If the dip feels a bit thick, try using a fork instead of a spoon. It gives you more control and helps everything blend together smoothly.Garlic prep: No grater or garlic press? No problem. Just use a sharp knife and chop the garlic as finely as you can — it doesn’t have to be perfect to taste delicious.
