Train Like It Matters

Hey there, fellow heroes—welcome to the Training section of Longblu.

I’m not a coach. There are no shortcuts here—no six-week miracles. What you will find is a fellow pathfinder—walking the long road of progress through steady reps, honest journaling, and every sweaty session that demands more than the last.

For most of my adult life, I lived in a body that felt heavy, unmotivated, and sometimes invisible. I couldn’t picture myself far into the future.

That changed when I met someone who sparked a shift.

Witnessing Mikki’s journey—turning pain into power—lit the fuse.
It reminded me of the version of myself I knew was still buried beneath years of grief, doubt, and delay.

Since then, I’ve started showing up for myself. And I’m sharing the process openly, in case it helps you show up for you, too.

If you’ve ever felt like the game of life had you stuck on the character creation screen… I get it.

This is me, shaping my stats one mission at a time—tracking, testing, learning, refining. If that sounds like your kind of game, this space is for you.

Let’s build something real.

My Training Philosophy

I’m disciplined—but never rigid.

This space isn’t a vault of set-in-stone rules—it’s a chronicle of real-time evolution.

My training philosophy is built on curiosity and experimentation. That means following the data, learning from professionals, and tweaking, testing, and adjusting until it actually clicks.

Progress, to me, is worth tracking.

That’s why I journal consistently, log KPIs, and treat every milestone like a main questline—because when the spreadsheet becomes your dojo, progress becomes inevitable.

You won’t find a “just do this” mindset here.
You’ll find: “Here’s what I tried. Here’s what happened. Here’s what I’m doing next.”

Come along for the ride. You might find ideas, reflections, or practical steps that help you move forward too.

From Obstacle to Origin Story

Late 2024, everything shifted.

Grief had been piling up for years.
By 2017, I hit my heaviest weight—168 kg.
And too many nights were spent numbing myself in Malta’s party scene.

Eventually, I reached a point where I had to decide: Fade further into the background—or rise and rebuild.

I chose to rise.

I’ve always loved games—but somewhere along the way, I stopped playing the one that mattered most: life. So I started treating my health like my GTA San Andreas character—improving stats, building structure, embracing the grind.

The spark?

Watching Mikki train like a beast and carry herself with intention every single day.
Her consistency flipped a switch in me.

That’s when I stopped spectating—and started showing up in my own story.

What Training Has Taught Me

📉 I’ve failed more times than I can count.
💥 Still, I’ve learned that discipline will take you places motivation never will.
🧠 And if there’s one thing I know for sure: consistency isn’t sexy—but it’s reliable.

My sets are tracked in the Technogym app.
Reflections? Logged in Google Docs.
Progress? Measured and crunched in Google Sheets.

This is my blueprint: the system that keeps me grounded, clear, and accountable.

If you’re just getting started, my advice is simple: Start small—but never stop.

Build something you can imagine living with forever, not something you can just suffer through for six weeks.

Training Stats, Goals & Milestones

Right now, I’m on a mission to escape obesity—once and for all.

So far, I’ve gone from 152 kg → 144.2 kg, and I’m steadily working toward my end goal: 115 kg.

💪Strength Goals

Progress isn’t just about the weight I’m losing—it’s also about the strength I’m building.

My current belt squat stat is 100 kg, and the next milestone is 120 kg. As I level up, I’ll keep adding to the list.

🗓️ Timeline & Commitment

My current deadline is January 1, 2026.

But this isn’t just a race to a number on the scale—it’s a long-term commitment to showing up, improving daily, and staying strong as life unfolds. (I might stumble a few times along the way.)

💡 What’s Still Taking Shape

Some of my final strength targets are still in development. Once I’ve defined them clearly, I’ll share them here to stay transparent and accountable.

Why Training Means More Than Muscle

Training, for me, is about far more than just the gym.

It’s become a forge—one that’s shaping my resilience, discipline, and sense of identity.

This journey isn’t about aesthetics. It’s about how I show up—for myself, for Mikki, and for the future I’m committed to building.

That’s exactly why this isn’t a typical fitness blog.

It’s a logbook of transformation—a record of the failures, the breakthroughs, and the messy middle.
More than anything, it’s an open invitation.

Because if you’re out there navigating your own game of life…
Maybe something here will help you level up, too.
