Add ingredients to blenderAdd yogurt, cold water, and a pinch (about 1/4 tsp) of salt to your blender. Blend until frothyLet it whizz for about a minute, or until you see those soft, airy foam bubbles on top. That’s your sign your Ayran is ready. Taste checkGive it a little sip. Too tangy? Too salty? Feel free to tweak the yogurt, water, or salt and blend again for a few seconds. Serve and enjoyPour the Ayran into glasses and enjoy it right away while it’s cold and refreshing.
- Lemon juice – I love adding a splash of lemon juice. It gives the Ayran a bit of acidity and a refreshing touch. Add as much as you like—I usually go for about a tablespoon per glass.
